Fix up truck or put towards newer truck?

I would fix it because that's a good truck.  My dad had a 1990 GMC with the 350, and it still on the original motor even at 280,000 miles.  So the motor is strong and will last as long as you change the oil when you are suppose to.  

What size boat are you pulling?  That truck should handle any bass boat or runabout boat easily.
