I was thinking the same.  I hope their heads were braced into the headrest before going under.

If you scroll down on the page it said they had bad bruising, but were otherwise ok.

I bet their eyeballs almost came out of the sockets from the G-force of that sudden stop. :-/

The narrator describes the yellow boat as arriving to protect the stricken crew but it looks more like it almost runs their sorry butts over.
