Jan-Jun. of 07, we had 19.17" of precipitation.

Jan-Mar + 4 days of Apr. this year we've had 14.92".  And there's about 0.75" in the gauge for today.

What a difference a year makes.  Might actually have some water in the bushes this summer.

So what are you complaining about? Those dinks like to get up in the bushes too....you won't have any trouble finding them.  ;)

;D

I would like it to quit so that I can go fishing! Yesterday was ideal fishing weather (overcast high of 65 hardly no wind) but I had to work  >:(. I have school on Mon-Fri and I wanted to head out today but the temperature dropped last night and it's going to rain all day. All this week it looks like rain!!!

I might go in the middle of the week after school, after all it's going to be warm all this week (highs in the mid to upper 70s!).

That can't stop you from fishing, just throw on some goretex or a coat.  Sometimes the best fishing is when its raining

Heck yeah get a wet suit and get out there.

Now your thinkin!!! lol.  The fish might not care as much with the rain coming down.  They might even jump at your feet lmao

We need rain all around Virginia.

In fact, I would not be upset if we get the rain from a hurricane that hits Florida, Georgia or South Carolina and moves up the coast giving us about 6 to 8 inches of rain without the wind.

The James River will be a better fishery as soon as the rain in the western part of the state travels down this way.

Come on rain!

I'm not going to complain about all the precipitation we've had because last September, the water level dropped so bad I almost didn't get my boat out of my canal. The only reason I will be able to keep my boat in my backyard this season is all the rain and snow we've had in the last six months.

Like Sam said, I wouldn't mind having all the rain from one of those hurricanes.

I love a few days of a heavy warm rain. Get out the braid and jigs, time to go fish some flooded timber.
