does anyone know how I can hook up my home speakers up to my computer?

They run on different Ohms.  You need something to interface between the amp and computer.  The computer is only good for a signal, not power.

I've never seen a patch cable with RCA's at one end and a pin jack at the other, do you have a pic?  Went to the monster site, couldn't find it.

Allow me to open a can of worms    I am a long time musician and very picky about sound and I cannot tell the difference between premium (Monster) cables and any others.  Get on Ebay and pick up your cable for a few bucks.  As long as you choose the right cable for the application you will be fine.

Hey guys, I just got them up and running

all i did was get some old headphones, splice them, then hook the wires into the speakers, then with the jack end i just plugged it in!

As long as the house does not burn down, that sounds great!

You are very resourceful. Now go spend the money you would have on cables to buy some fishing tackle.  ;D
