.     :       the dots represent cones at the test course if that helps give me some tips

i took the test and did pretty good. however my instructer passed almost everybody on it becasue you never need to parallel park here...just remember to take your time and think it through. no need to rush through things

Practice, practice, practice! Before my youngest daugter took her driving test I took her out almost every day in the PT Cruiser she was going to take her test in and every time we came to a spot in the neighborhood that was perfect for practicing parallel parking, I made her park! That was the one thing she too was worried about. She took the test and didn't even have to do it!!

I'd also recommend that you try to relax and not be nervous. The more proficient you become behind the wheel, the less anxiety you'll have. IMO:o)

The best thing to do is practice and just plainly relax. You will be fine.

One suggestion for after you pass is to go to Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia (its a little less then an hour away from Frederick). They have an accident avoidance class that will teach you how to handle a car not just pass the state test. You use their cars to do skid pad, braking with and without anti-lock brakes and other test.
