Is it just me, or does it seem like this show hasnt been on for a LOOOONG TIME.

From what I can gather, the 7th (final) season is set to begin in september.  13 episodes.

I know we used to have a thread about this show, who else is a fan?

Well, I've had a lot on my mind with how to handle Shane.  But you know me, I'll find a way out of it.  

As far as I know, this will be the last season.  I think the delay had a lot to do with the writers strike.

I have a feeling that Antoine and Cavanaugh will be back in the picture on some level.

Last season to me seemed to be an entire "set up" to the final season.  I have a feeling I'll be on the edge of the couch all season.

Any ideas when last season comes out on DVD?

Hell yes.  BEST...SHOW...EVER.

I like the way they really made me hate that POS Shane last season.  Yeah, I read that it was all delayed because of the writer's strike.  That delayed the next greatest show..Rescue Me.

I think Kavanaugh was a waste of time, to see how he turned in the towel.  It could have ended so much better, especially with him starting to play dirty.

I disagree with Kavenaugh being a waste of time.  I liked the battle between him and Vic.  I also enjoyed watching his fall from grace.

Plus, without him, we would never know the tast of "sweet butter"!

Anyway, what I meant was we spent so much time getting to hate Kavanaugh and just waiting on Vic to whoop some tail, and then in the end he just kinda threw in the towel.  I was left standing there, feeling like I was cheated out of the beat down they had been leading us two for a year and a half.

That's understandable.  I think if Vic beat him down, then it would have caused more problems.

I still don't think he or Antoine are out of the picture, however.
