Need Info On Jackal Giron

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anyone in the south east of the US has used this bait in the the Bluegill pattern i live in East TN and i seen on the Bass Pro's they was using a Blugill type swimbait around docks and was wondering if this is a good bait to try? I dont know when to try this when do the bluegill spawn? Should i not waste my time on one of these?

It's a great little bait. I have one and it flat out catches fish. I fish mine about 1" below the surface. I'll use it anytime I'm throwing a topwater.

I take it this isnt a good bait.

I went to my local tackle shop (the cool one that carries all the Japanese stuff) because he just got twenty-five (that's 25) in.  When I got there, one person (that's 1) had bought ALL of them.   They're good baits.

the link doesnt work :-/

Sorry about that, It was just a search on here. Just search "Jackall Giron" and alot of info about the lure comes up.

I love mine. I have all four US Market colors and tend to use the Ghost Crappie and Crappie the most. I burn-em, jerk-em, sink-em, and even jig-em a little.. They have become my go-to bait, because they flat out catch fish. I don't think around here the large trout swimbaits do much good, but these guys are the trick. If you can find them, get all you want. They sell like hotcakes around here. I had to have my local shop hold them for me, and a guy tried to buy them for double before I got there. Another Jackall that you might want to check is the Mikey Jr. The Giron and Mikey Jr have dedicated rods and are usually the first and last baits I throw, heck sometimes they are the only ones.
