the other day as i was leaving the lake to ride my bike home a lady told me that the anhinga outside her house was caught on something. so i crept as close as i could(about 5 ft) from it and i saw something stuck on his beak that prevented it from opening its mouth. :'( it is a small lake and he should still be around..

does anyone have any numbers i can call??

Grab it and pull it off.   Watch he doesn't crap on you.  We have cormarants around here and they always discharge about a gallon and a half of "white paint" when you get near them.
