Love Firefox.  Use it at home and work.  Beats Explorer hands down IMO.

I signed up prior to today, and got an email about 40 minutes ago with a link to download but its not working.

Hopefully its got some of the FF2 bugs fixed.

No, it was just released today.  You've been a "release candidate" which is not the final version.

Hookemdown, I am curious what you think makes it stand out from the crowd.  I am sure it is my lack of knowledge about what else browsers can do, but I just use whatever is on the computer and have never noticed a difference between any of them.  Should I be looking for something in particular from a browser?  Thank you.

I would like to know why it is so much better as well. I have both loaded on a computer and I do not notice any difference in download time, which I have checked online.  Maybe I am missing something.

This is mainly true.

But, Firefox's security and privacy features are light years ahead of IE.  Also, you have a countless "add-ons" with Firefox, as well has and entire service community devoted to making Firefox even better.

I notice no real difference user side except for the URL drop down which I hate.
