How do I modify my profile?

Featured Replies

I'd like to change my avitar. I have read the FAQs and I can get into my profile. However, I do not find a "modify" button.

once in your User CP, click "profile".  Follow the instructions here: http://www.bassresource.com/fish/picture_tutorial_avatar.html  starting at "You will then be asked to re-enter your password."

I do not have a "modify" button in my profile. I have gone in by going to member then searching for Black Bass. Then I double click on Black Bass and I'm in my profile. Nothing remotely looks like a "modify" button. I also go to one of my posts and select "profile" and I'm in my profile screen with the avitar showing but no modify button. I'm logged in as the message "Good Evening Black Bass..." is showing and I can post.

Are there some settings that I need to change so I can modify my avitar?

Thanks,

Ok, I'll try to be more explicit

I have gone in by going to member then searching for Black Bass. Then I double click on Black Bass and I'm in my profile.

Once you have done the above, NOW click "profile".  Follow the instructions here: http://www.bassresource.com/fish/picture_tutorial_avatar.html  starting at "You will then be asked to re-enter your password."

Glenn, here are a couple of links to screen captures of my Profile page. I do not see a "profile" button or a "modify" button. That's why I wondered if there are some settings that I need to change to be able to see the buttons.

to look at your profile, you hit the "User CP" link at the top of the page, not search for your profile in "members" :)

click on the "User CP" link at the top of the page (next to "Members"). From there, click the "Profile" link in the upper left hand corner of your profile, then click "options" on the left, and confirm your password, then change you picture and hit save at the bottom of the page.

Thanks njbasser and BassBoy15. By going in CP I was finally able to see "Profile." From there, it was easy.

You did. I just didn't get it until they provided a very detailed picture of the menu where I was to select "User CP". I'm going to blame it on all the meds I'm taking after the triple bypass.

Oh well, whatever the cause, I finally got it and was able to make the change.

Thanks to all,
