Reports out of LA and Boston indicate that Manny Ramirez has been sent to the Dodgers.  The Sox get Jason Bay from Pittsburgh and the Pirates get four minor league players.

Glad he is gone, i'm sick of all his antics, but u know what they say its just manny being manny.

Being a life long sox fan I have mixed emotions on this one. Manny did help us win two world series championships. I just wish he had kept his mouth shut and worked out his problems with management. I know the last two series (Yankees and Angels) he was dogging it and that didn't help the situation at all. I had faith that Theo Epstein was going to get to the heart of the problem and get it worked out rather than trade him.

I mean if you look at it from Manny's perspective every year he has been on the trading block. How would you feel if your boss tried to get rid of you every year and you knew what he was doing. Just a thought..... he had to feel disrespected.
