Did anyone watch the opening ceremonies?  It was one of the most spectacular events I have ever seen!  Word is, the Chinese spent $300 million for the ceremony alone.  Absolutely awesome!

I watched most of it, and althought I'm not really into that kind of "artistic/showy" thing, I was impressed.

The thing with the blocks that went up and down and there were actualy people inside of them was amazing. The drums were cool to.

I missed it unfortunately. Too many honeydos that had to be completed. She knows I'm fishing next weekend and I have to earn my time on the water.

With it being China fireworks were a big part of it. Theye were awesome.

What about the blocks that did the wave and such? I thought that was a machine, until people popped up! haha
