A sound I never want to hear again

Featured Replies

There is a young man who plays violin with the choir I sing with at church.  Steven is a sophomore at Florida State.

At Mass Saturday evening we were standing listening to the Gospel.  Steven had put his violin in the chair behind him.  I thought to myself that I wish he wouldn't do that.

Sure enough, he sat down on his precious old fiddle and did a lot of damage to it.  That crunching sound as the back split and the bridge collapsed was one of the most disgusting things I have ever heard.

Man, thats awful.  I have had a guitar meet a similar end and it is not a good feeling at all.

I feel bad for him.
