Greg Oden

Featured Replies

Greg Oden may be the next Shaq if he can stay healthy. But, come on, basketball is tied with hockey as the most boring sport on TV.

Wow.

I am getting to go to the Houston vs. Portland game in November.  Can not wait to see Oden vs. Yao.  You guys getting to see Oden vs. Howard, are in for a treat, imo.  I think Oden will be superman's kryptonite!  Like Russel was to Chamberlain.

X2 on the boring NBA.

NCAA DIV I is the best, most pure, and entertaining level of basketball.

Oden's a stud. NBAA has sucked since the mid 90's. LeBron WILL be a better player than Jordan. Kobe sucks. Kobe sucks. Kobe sucks.

Sorry for the criticism.

I agree that the NBA is the most boring, except for playoffs. I hate watching the NBA, but I don't think its THE most boring sport.

Everyone has their own opinons.

Saying Lebron will be better than Jordan is a pretty strong statement. I'm neither agreeing or defending you, but he could fall tomorrow and break every bone in his body.

I agree man. I know its a strong enough statement that I wont even argue it very thoroughly. As long as the opposition uses a modicum of TACT, lol.

Jordan was cut from his high school team freshaman (soph?) year, and was just barely getting started in the NBA at lebrons age. James has his speed, ball handling, shooting and passing skills, and is much stronger. I know its a long shot statement. But I really feel that when all is said and done, they will be at least equally revered. Also, James was a senior the same year I was, and I remember watching him on TV and thinking that I could be one of those poor saps that had to try and stop him when he cut to the hole. Probably has something to do with how much I think of him.

I feel you man. Someone eventually has to be better than Jordan, and I agree that LeBron has has the best chance.

As I mentioned, I'm no NBA expert, but I did play through my senior year of high school, and I played against some darn good players such as Ty Lawson, Michael Beasley, and Nolan Smith to name a few.

Classic

Gotta agree though, James has definitely got the potential.  He is young and has along time to advance his game.
