got a pack yesterday and went to the creek to get a feel of how they work and wow, those things cause quite a disturbance!  cant wait to use them sunday morning.  not only the tail, but how the shad itself wiggles back and forth.   never thought they could get plastic to do that. only thing is i say they wear out quick and at a buck a piece gonna have to utilize every bit of it.

I love the rage tail shad.  More often than not, I reach for it instead of buzzbaits now.  It is a tad more subtle than a buzzbait and has a different profile, which is perfect for the lakes that I fish.  They are beat to death with angling pressures.

I rig them with a 4/0 hook, tail up and fish them over shallow grass or anywhere else you'd fish a buzzbait.  These things are awesome.

i love the ragetail shad, i used the gold bling a couple of weeks ago and did very well, what worked for me was burning it over the pads then when i was in a pocket i killed it, let it sink then WHAM hold on to your rod. 8-)

Glad you like them. Last night we caught most of our fish on the darker colors and my client caught his PB, 9 lbs at 1:00 am on Smokey Shad color by a lit boat dock.  

He said he's gonna mount it, The Shad that is, under a framed picture of his fish. I gave him a new Rage Shad cause his was a little ripped up.
