What's the deal with PM?

I PM'd a member on this forum requesting for a name of other website. I typed the name of website in the PM. I checked my outbox and notice that the name was filtered/removed. I'm guessing whenever this member writes back whatever the name of site will not be seen either. I mean whatever happen to "Privacy"??? I just don't consider "PM" as a private message at all. Just a rant.
