NEW YEARS RESOLUTION

Featured Replies

I will try to put both of my boats to good use.  I simply need to quit making excuses and go fishing more often.

i havent had a smoke since new years eve!

Me neither  :) And it was really tough not having one when I was out drinking this weekend. My gums are sore from all the Nicorette I demolished, but the ole' lungs are feelin' quite fine. I almost hate admitting that I'm trying to quit as a New Year's resolution just because it's so cliche, but whatever.

I'm done paying $5 for admission to my old HS's basketball games and being disgusted the entire time I'm there.

The first thing that came to my mind after reading this was Booger from Revenge of the Nerds: "I've been combin' the high-schools all day." ;D

While I've never seen that film, I have a good idea of what you're talking about.   ;)

Just decided on my fishing-related resolution today, Stop buying more rods/reels until I have learned how to effectively fish every lure in my tackle box!

I tried that last year and look what happened to the economy.

Mine is to fully quit cursing this year.

BTW, I made my first NY resolution last year to lose weight and I'm proudly 57lbs lighter than I was last year. (and still going)

Wow, that's awesome, congrats on the weight loss... I lost 25 lbs. last year and haven't felt this good since college (20+ yrs ago). Still have 14 to go to reach my goal. By the way, best of luck on quitting smoking.
