Featured Replies

Subway has awesome grinders. My personal favorite is the spicy italian, loaded with banana peppers and jalapenos. Whats Yourz? ;D :) Make sure to decribe your toppings and sauce in your post.

Pastrami. A lot of it. Toasted bread. Thats it.

Seriously? I would rather fall on a dirty meat slicer at a Quizno's than eat at a Subway.

Always chicken breast, shredded cheese, toasted, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, olives and ranch on wheat.

I would rather have a urinary catheter than eat at Quizno's.

That doesn't mean much coming from you and your preference for that meat flavored sponge they call chicken at Subway... ;D

Turkey, bacon, and Swiss, on wheat with Sweet Onion sauce.

But a chicken/bacon/swiss/honey mustard on wheat from Quizno's is better.

Wheres the Seafood and Crab option?   :P

I like the Spicy Italian and BMT with everything on them.

Yep

My regular is a 6 Italian BMT on Italian herb and cheese, toasted.  Topped with pepper jack, jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and black olives. Side order of Miss Vickie's Jalepeno Chips and a Diet Coke.

The perfect lunch.

Blimpie is a close second for me, followed by Quiznos, then Jimmie Johns.

Subway = Microwave crap. Used to work there, know from experience. They microwave your chicken right in front of you. Kinda nasty if you ask me.

Jimmy John's = Awesome.

For all the WPB, FL dudes, Johnny's Subs on Forest Hill and Military (family friend of mine) has some of the best subs I've ever had in my life. Try 'em out and tell me that ain't a good sub! 8-)

None all of their sandwiches should be put through a grinder, they are horrible!

I believe the output of that catheter is one of Quizno's premium sandwich sauces.

On topic.  The Subway melt.

It is really heartwarming to see all the polite and well intetioned chatter that makes a whole lot of sense on these forums. Then again I guess thats only for the other fellas here :-/

Quote from another thread, where a few of us were having some fun at Burley's expense from one DD:

tough to wade through all this senseless and/or ignorant chatter, but....what is the commonality, Burley?

I have been called senseless and I have been called ignoratn but I have never been called senseless and ignorant on the same day

I HUMBLEY ACCEPT THIS STATUE AND AWARD and I would like to thank those who made it possible

I dunno about you, bud I'd much rather have some chicken that was actually cooked, not microwaved. :)

The difference is in that thread there were a half dozen posts "at Burley's expense" and that's it. In this thread, I was giving my opinion on the topic in question.

And I wasn't calling you ignorant and senseless. The comments as a whole were ignorant and senseless (if it makes you happy, the ignorant comment was not made by you. ;D) But enough about that, back to the topic.

Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki all day long, american cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and a ton of sweet onion sauce = delicious.

I DEMAND CREDIT FOR THE IGNORANT REMARK, IT'S THE LAST YOU CAN DO FOR A FRIEND

Meatball marinara with some green peppers, cheese, onions and jalapenos is my favorite.  Next is the spicey Italian with same.

However, my first choice for "grinders" is Firehouse subs.  They rock!  Not to mention the selection of hot sauces is fantactic.
