This guy is crazy.  How much you wanna bet he purges after the big meals?

I'd like to talk to his cardiologist.

It really is amazing how much food that guy can put away. When it first came out I figured he would just be some joke of a tv host going around trying his best to eat impossibly big piles of greasy food but he can really eat.

10 years ago I could have given him a run for his money.

I'm in my prime and I'm not sure I could compete.  A bar in my hometown has a big burger, tips the scales at 24 ounces with a bun thats 9 inches in diameter.  I ate that once in about 45 minutes.  That's like a warm up to the guy from Man vs. Food.

I don't like the show though.  Except for the eating competition part, it's really just a knock-off of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, only he isn't nearly as entertaining of a host as Guy is.

We have a place around here that makes a 9" bun burger as well.  The meat on this one is about an inch thick and as big as the bun after being cooked, it's called Mike's Intimidator and is served at the Purple Cow.

I don't know if it is really a knock of triple D so much.  Guy goes around showing good places to eat that aren't chain and off the beaten path whereas this guy just goes looking for food chalanges.   Some of them look great and some are just so-so.  I really don't understand why you would do the hottest curry challange at that one place just to get a free beer.

I didn't know the Purple Cow had that.  The 3 of us may have to have a competition trying to put it away on a trip to Cherokee sometime.

It's is really good, if I get it I usually cut it into fourths and eat 1/4-1/2 of it with fries.

Y'all need to run by there and get one on the way to KY Lake.  I know it'll be hard to get Jimzee to pass up on trying to shut down a Pal's.

I havent been by Purple Cow in a while, but if they are still doing it, its hard to beat a burger fries and a drink for $2 still too.

This is one of the greatest contributions to man..... ;D

You ought to see one of these things in person.  Hard to fathom a burger that big can be cooked.

I believe they actually just filmed an episode of this show up there.  Guess we will see in the near future.

wow thats alot of cow. that thing could feed the whole KY trip crew
