Went and saw this cinematic turd yesterday. Picture any steven segal movie and add Leam Neason or however you spell it. One of the most predictable movies ever. The movies plot was plausable, but it takes place in france, which to me isnt that rough of a neighborhood. Probably not worth going to the movies and seeing but you may wanna check it out on DVD

My b-i-l said he liked it and that it was worth a watch.  Now I don't know I'll just wait for the dvd or do my normal watch it online free when I get mixed reviews like this.

I saw it and loved it. I didn't go in expecting to see Saving Private Ryan or any other Oscar Winning film with the trailers I saw. I went in expecting to see some ticked off father with training kick some butt while trying to save his daughter. I got what I expected.

As far as France not being a rough neighborhood, you do realize there are bad spots in ALL cities. As long as there is a demand for illicit materials and behavior there will be a supply of it readily available. EVERYWHERE. Also, in 2005 France was being burned to the ground by rioters, thugs........

Most of the large European cities, London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Moscow, etc. all have very deep, dark underbellies with strong criminal organizations.  By and large, some of those places make East L.A. seem like Peoria.

I really liked just for the great action scenes

ive seen it .... but not in theaters. minus the terrible sound quality , it wasnt bad at all. not THE BEST , but i liked it.

in no way does it compare to the professional , but it was still pretty good , imo.

Wait for it on HBO.  I watched it and it's very predictable.  not to mention the acting sucked.
