In Fisherman Show

Featured Replies

Did anyone happen to catch the In Fisherman show yesterday when they were fishing for Walleye with swimbaits? I didn't get what brand they were using. Maybe someone here at Bass Resource world did. I would appreciate it!

I don't remember them throwing a swimbait. I do know they were throwing a rapala minnow rap in hot steel.

That Doug Stange catches EVERYTHING!!

I saw the show and can't remember the brand. Since they are always promoting either Gulp, or Powerbait, if either comes in a swimbait style, that would be it.

They were using it on a jig head ripping it through weeds. Weeds was the pattern.

It was a Berkley saltwater Powerbait paddle tail shad. And they flat do work for walleye! I use the Storms swim baits for walleye and stripers with excellent success, in a large river near me. For whatever reason though, I've never caught a smallie on them!?

Dang my DVR must have missed an episode. I watched it lastnight and they were fishing for walleye and flyfishing. Sounds like I recorded an old one or something.

Thanks guys. I believe it was the berkely product. I want to try it on freshwater bass up here in the north. If it don't work, I'll use it on stripers.
