So last night I went up to my buddys college with a few friends and this morning when we were going to leave I notice my car is not where I parked (not the best feeling). So I call my buddy tell him he calls campus security and asks where the impound lot would be, now we have to walk a little over 2 miles to the impound lot, so we get there pay $75 to get my jeep back, walk up to get my jeep and theres 2 parking tickets in my wipers...EXCELLENT... > Talk about insult to injury. I normally go up there on weekends and you're allowed to park in that lot on weekends but apparently you can't on weekdays I didn't even think about that. Apparently campus security tickets you every 4 hours after a certain hour...So thats how my wonderful day started today haha

Yep, that's how it works at my school. You can't park on campus unless you have a parking pass or after 5pm on Friday and all day on the weekends. Why didn't your friend tell you before hand?

My college would give my friends tickets too, but they really had no authority and they couldn't do anything if you didn't pay them and you didn't go to school there. Unless their campus security are actual police just forget about paying the parking tickets.

Speaking of tickets, my parents just recieved a letter at their house for a parking ticket for me ( I haven't lived with them for 5 years)....from 2005....for a car that I haven't owned since 2002.

I'm pretty sure I won't be paying that one.

He spaced it that it wasn't the weekend which is when I had come up before was either a friday or saturday night which is when you're allowed to park there. And yeah the tickets were just from campus security not the actual police so idk if those will get paid or not haha

campus security and not the po-po's...then for sure don't pay them, at least thats one plus, but overall a major bummer... sorry to hear it man.
