probably a dumb chatterbait question but...

Featured Replies

where do you tie onto those things?

on the jig head or onto the snap part that is in the middle of the blade.

Also, does anyone have and retrieval suggestions and/or how to fish?

thanks

Tie on the blade part. You can fish them any way you want like the package suggests. (Jig, spinner, crank, blah, blah.....)

For the uneducated person, there is no dumb question. You tie to the snap that is on the blade. You can use it just like you would a spinnerbait, fast, slow, dropping, hopping, jigging, etc.

I caught a 4lb bass this weekend retrieving one slowly. The fish actually hit it real close in. I believe the fish followed it for a while.

thanks so much guys... appreciate it

picked on up at walmart cause i thought it looked neat and i looked on the back and there was no "tie your fishing line here" type instructions

:)

You may aslo want to try the chatterfrogs, I have been catching a lot of bass on them lately.

I'm swearing off the chatterbait jigs!! I bought my first 5$ one and lost it on like the third cast. Then I bought another and lost it after about 10 min of fishing. It's just been bad mojo I guess.

I have lost a few and replaced them, loosing an occasional lure is part of fishing.  The bottom line is the chatterbaits do catch fish in the right conditions.
