That kind of reminds me of that urban myth that went something like this:

A body was found in the woods after a wildfire. Nothing too unusual about that, except the corpse had scuba gear on. In the woods, miles away from any substantial water.

Turns out one of the airplanes that dumps water on forest fires had scooped the guy out of the water when it skimmed the water to refill it's tank......

I guess they kind of got wet for nothing but I would not have taken a chance. You suppose they went and had a beer?

I herd a similar story - But i was told it was a true Darwin award thing, That he was a scuba diver ran out of Oxygen flaged down a " rescue Plane " Which scooped him and 500 Gallons of water up where he drown in the tank  and was than dumped on a fire and burnt to death... WOW that would suck.

So its just a myth?
