News is reporting that Steve McNair, ex QB of the Tennessee Titans, was found dead along with a lady in Nashville apartment.

 Was reported to be shot.

Sad news; just hope there's no sick back story to this.

He was a fantastic college QB at Alcorn State in Mississippi.

I think he was better than Michael Vick in college.

Sad to hear this news.  Always seemed like he was a class act.  I remember watching his highlights on ESPN when he was at Alcorn St.  The dude was straight up nasty.

He was found shot dead in a condo close to his restaurant, a female victim was also found in the same condo with a fatal gunshot wound.

whatever the story behind all this, the whole sports world, not just the NFL has lost a true warrior. We have season tickets to Titans games and when i was little Steve was my favorite player. His carreer was dotted with more injuries than anyone could imagine. But he played no matter what. He'd bee to the point where he wouldnt practice for weeks at a time because of his injuries, but you could bet he'd be out there on Sunday playing and winning with the pain. His tougness symbolized what a NFL should be like. His stats didnt show his true impact because the Titans were always a run first team. And in '03 when they finally started airing it out more, what happened? Co-MVP of the league with Peyton Manning.

Its truly sad that he wont get to enjoy being able to wake up on Monday and be able to get out of the bed without the pain. And wont get to see his kids grow up or any of thes e things he deserved. :'(

The interview with the sheriff was very odd.  His business partner walked in on them dead and  didn't realize then saw blood and called another guy to come over before calling the cops?   Just a little odd.  Does sound a lot like he had himself a side piece though since McNair and this girl had an Escalade titled together, and she was pulled over 2 days ago for DUI and he was in the car with her.

That is very unfortunate. I always enjoyed watching him play. He was tough as nails.

Yeah; just heard they had trouble locating the murder weapon. It was under the female. He had multiple g/s wounds and she had one. Sounds like he was having an affair with a 20 year old who was a little unbalanced after getting a DUI. Maybe he planned on ending the affair and she didn't want the gravy train to stop. Who knows. Kind of bold to have an affair AND cosign (joint owner reported) for a Cadillac Escalade.
