We are going to Yellow Stone in two weeks, can anyone give us any things we should do and any thing we should not? Any must see things, any help would be great! We will also take a ride to see the Grand Teton's.

Bring a fly rod.

The fishing for cutthroat trout is fantastic.

I don't own a fly rod. And as much fishing and tournaments that i do, I think this is a non fishing trip,per the wife! :'(

i would recommend you don't get eaten by a bear.... LOL!  Otherwise have a great trip.  

Do not try to take a leak in Old Faithful.

I would definately go to Old Faithul.  Not only is it just that one geyser, but there are another 2 or 3 really cool ones and about 2 miles of walkway that take you throw lots of pools, etc.  Including the Glory Pool which is pretty cool.

There is also alot to see around Yellowstone Lake

Oh, and don't stop to see every single buffalo/Bison along the way when you first get there.  You will see 1000's of them by trips end.  I hated the people that would stop in the middle of the road just because there was 1 buffalo.   Now if you see a bear, feel free to stop  .  When your driving, you'll know where the wildlife is because you will see 20+ cars stopped in the middle of the road taking pics.

Enjoy your time there, I went about 5 years ago and really miss it.  I've been fortunate enought to have visited 7 National Parks.  I would say that Yosemite and Yellowstone would be in the top 3.

I did the tent thing in Sept. 1990.  Elk rutting and bugleing every night. ;D  See Yellowstone River, Yellowstone Falls, and Yellowstone Lake.  There were several other pull-off areas with great attractions.  The Grand Tetons has camping also.  Jackson Hole Has some nice attractions too.

I spent a winter in Jackson Hole and made it out to Yellowstone for a snowmobile trip. Obviously you can't do that right now, but you might want to check out the wildlife museum in Jackson Hole - it's pretty cool. Also, you can go to the mountain and take the tram up to the top - I believe it runs all summer. As long as it's not too cloudy, the view will be tremendous. I think the mountain (Jackson) is about two hours from the park.

For the park itself, sounds like you have it pretty much covered as long as you see Old Faithful and follow the other gents' advice. Have fun and post pictures when you get back

Thanks for the info. Have you ever tent camp in yellow Stone? Just would like to know what part of the park is good camping? And are the camp sites first come first serve?  :-?
