Just found this on Drudge. Cool story, but the comments below are ridiculous. Are the people making comments illiterate? It says in the article the fish was released, but I guess that's not good enough - it was caused 20 mins of distress.

I would use some kind of harness, like those musky fishermen who supposedly used kittens as bait.
