Featured Replies

i have a new found respect for your trade. i just laid 350 square feet and my back, knees, hands and skin are aching. how long should i wait for jamo multibond to set up? i started at 9 this morning and put my last tile down at 5. can i walk on it tomorrow to clean the grout lines?

You can walk on your new tile the first thing tomorrow morning.  Multibond sets up in about five hours.  I'm not a tile setter, but I know a few of them very well.  They are in their late thirties and all are  looking for a new line of work.

Yep, tile can be a killer.

First thing in the morning will be fine.

I've laid a bunch in my home and a couple friends but haven't used the multi-bond. I did use the ready made grout (stainproof) and will definitely use that again. Saved alot of time and no sealing necessary.

thank you gentlemen.

You'll be good in the morning to walk on it. As a flooring installer no one realizes what we go through on a daily basis. IT SUCKS, but you gotta make a living one way or another.

I do all my own home improvement projects and have done my kitchen, hallway, both bathroom floors , and kitchen wall/backsplash. My tiling career is now done. ;)
