Past draft experts thought Dallas dropped the ball when Jerry and Bill passed on Shawn and took Demarcus Ware instead.

Shawn was suspended for 4 games on the leagues substance abuse policy and had season ending surgery before game 2 last season.

Yeah, but it's not like he wasn't worth it when he did play:

AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year (2005)

3× Pro Bowl selection (2005, 2006, 2007)

3× All-Pro selection (2005, 2006, 2007)

Really stupid on his part. His career seems to be on a down turn with the injury and subsequent surgery, now this. Hopefully he can get back in the game because he's a dominant force when healthy

Sometimes pro stick and ball athletes need to slap on a pair of ice skates and be forced to play one night/day on a pro Hockey team.. ;)

We speak Check here..lol

You guys are all jumping to conclusions.

From what I have heard she was drunk and wanting to drive home. He stopped her and she called the cops. There were other wittnesses at his house. We will just have to wait and see. You guys have not  heard his side of the story.

Oh and on roids........ dont be soo niave!!!!! every team has sombody who has been caught. I would guess that at least 50% of the power/strenght position playes are using or have used. That is also an extremly conservative guess. Basicaly most are using, a few get caught. I have a friend who many years ago was a roid dealer and he had some incedible stories. The amout of money made is rediculous. Plus for every new drug or new test they make some type of masking drug to cheat the tests. Its just a big game of whoever has the latest product and best info doesnt get caught. My friend was a pharmacist and I had no idea he was dealing untill one day he was in jail. I was totaly shocked.

When he got out about 1 year later he told me all about it. It is quite eye opening.

Figure this, those guys are constantly competeing against each other and every yeay they get older and a new crop of younger stronger players come in. You have to be stronger and faster and better or you dont have a job. Most NFL careers are only a few years long.

Dont think its only in the pros either. College is just as bad and its even in the high schools.

sooo what your saying is hockey players are tougher than nfl players? i believe there are several nhl guys who:

a) have done steroids

B) had domestic abuse charges

i believe your point falls on thin ice (pun intended)

mattlures is right--don't jump to conclusions until you have heard the entire story.
