Theory of a Deadman

Featured Replies

My wife and I are going to see Daughtry for the first time.  His opening acts are Cuvo?? and Theory of a Deadman.  I've heard some music from TOAD but just wondering how they are live.  I love rock and listen to things like Godsmack, etc. but my wife only like the easier rock such as Daughtry, Nickleback, etc.  She's worried she'll only like the Daughtry portion of the show.  Any of you been to their concerts???

TOADM is a great band, they perform great live as well.  Cavo is pretty decent as well, they did the song "Let it go" that is on the new transformers movie sound track.

I've looked at quite a few youtube videos of each and Cavo seems to be the one I'd least like.  TOADM sounds quite awesome.  I couldn't stand it and just ran out and bought a copy of their new album.  From what I heard on the way home it sounds great!

I like them almost as much as Shinedown. Shinedown got huge props from me when they came to Iraq when I was on my 3rd tour and played a concert out there for all of us. We thought they would stick to the air bases and safer places but they came right in on a helo and played at Hurricane Point. I now buy every CD they release, not to mention I like their music anyway.

I've listened to Shinedown a bit and they seem to be very good.  In all honesty,  the TOADM cd is the first rock cd I've bought in about 3 years.  I love to listen to it but I always have my two kids in the vehicle with me or my wife and I don't want them to hear a lot of the stuff that some of the harder bands say.  This is one reason we LOVE Daughtry.  His music is very clean and his talent just seems to be amazing.
