The last few Megadeth albums have had some true gems on them but there were a number of songs that I would skip past because they just were not any good.  Well when Metallica released their latest I knew that Megadeth was going to have to really get to work and they did.  First time I listened to it I was stuck on Dave's lyrics which have been lame for the most part, but the second time around I cranked it up and just listened to the music and really got into it.  Anybody else pick it up last week?

i was on slayer's website reading peoples comments about the release date of slayer's new album (which is gonna absolutely pwn btw, the two singles are great) and some of the the people said that the new Megadeth album was lacking....

Anyone who refers to Slayer as "pwn"ing should be summarily shot.

Megadeth is absolutely awesome, have met dave a couple times during gigantour and he is a real stand up dude, no matter what people may say. And 1320 just rules on that album!

Youthanasia is the last album I really loved. Cryptic was ok for me, but everything after that was just hastily thrown together imo. Glad to hear a positive review; I'll def. be grabbing this one.

this megadeth album was awesome! i only listened to it once, but i may go as far as to say it was my favorite.

i need to hear this album some more though. like Infidel said, the vocals seem a bit out of place but the guitars and drums are great.
