One for the Wisconsin guys

Featured Replies

We went to as Cubs fans to see the Brewers vs the Cubs. After the game we were in the gift shop. I saw a young guy with a t-shirt in obvious Cub colors.

 The shirt read.....

" We prefer pennant races to sausage races"

You have to admit, that is a classic.

There is no way a Cubs fan would ever understand that when if refers to a pennant! That word is just not part of their vocabulary.

You've got it way off Leo

Pennant race = Cubs = yes

World series = anyone but the Cubs

Then again coming from a guy who has sold out his own state?  ;D

Nope south suburb, but grew up on the south side of the city. Like both teams but love the Sox and love to bust on the Cubs.

This is why I don't pay attention to baseball, I have attended 20+ Brewer games in my life, in which they have won 3 or 4.

WI sports are just sub par on average.  The packers are all we really have, Brewers have never been a force, and then we have... the bucks?  yeah ok...  ;D
