Need some downloading help

Featured Replies

I'm trying to download some stuff and the computer will only let me do so in admin mode.  How do I get what I downloaded from admin mode to the "regular" mode so I can do what I need to with it?

Windows XP.

Thanks

Control Panel-->user Accounts-->Grant any account you wish with full administrator rights, and you are able to share whatever.

Be careful doing that, if you hit a website that has bad code on it (virus, trojan...) it runs with the privileges of the account you are logged it as. If its an admin account it will run without issue.

If its XP you can right click on it and chose Run As, this will give you the option to run it under the admin account for that process only.
