Freakonomic by Steven Levitt? Any book by Steven Levitt is great.

I read half of Freakonomic, I had it checked out at my school's library, but I just didn't finish the book before I took it back and I was too busy to extend the checkout. The chapters I read were awesome. He explains some great things you never though of and it pretty hilarious. There some touchy issued like "abortion" that he will explain his view on and go into a solid argument on it. He no emotional author he makes all kinds of excellent points.

The first chapter about the teaching cheating is pretty interesting. He actually accused some teachers working magic with their pencil to receive bonus.
