I heard Hey Jude by the Beatles in 1968 before it was officially released.

I told the guys my dorm about this fantastic song the Beatles did and even hummed a few bars for them.

The record was released and on the radio a few days later.

I guess I must have heard an early release, so Big Dave may have heard that song somewhere before.

I'll never forget hearing Hey Jude before anyone else I knew at the time.
