Ok, I live near the ocean. I wouldnt mind trying to go out now and then for some fun. However paddling a few miles off shore to mess with some tuna seems a little bit crazy to me. I guess when you can be fishing in waters that there have been 3 sightings of great white sharks this year, a kayak seems like it would be a kind of a top water bait to them. That's just my opinion. I read that earlier on a kayak fishing site I goto, while I cant wait to get my new Kayak in the water early spring, I highly doubt I'll be paddleing my way offshore to chase Tuna. Im targeting it towards the LMB n SMB's

I saw a special on TV not too long ago showing guys in kayaks up in Alaska fishing for some type of cold water shark.

After the guy caught the thing and released it, he grabbed the fin and let the thing drag him around the bay.
