Pictures of your house at Christmas

Featured Replies

While I don't, I like to see others. If you decorate the outside of your house, take a picture and share.

These were taken a year ago at a house whose decorations were highly publicized and which many people visited. The owners had been doing it for a number of years and announced that 2008 would be the last year, although I don't know if they changed their minds.

Even though it is cool... the only thing I can think of is taking all of that down.

My neighbors and I use to be like the Griswalls trying to out do each other. It was a two day job starting the Friday after Thanksgiving and usually getting everything up and on just about dark on Saturday. After the death of our daughter in August of 08 none of us have done a thing. Wanda and I told them to go ahead, but the four houses have been lightless since. We wish they would go ahead and decorate and have told them to, but so far none have. It's boring without it, but one of them needs to make a move. I've been tempted to put one of our deer out just to see what happens, but we will be gone this year so I guess I will just wait and see what happens. None of us have any children at home now. We just did it for the fun.
