Oh and Dock: Winter Is the unc of the seasons. ;)

Yeah I think I'm to far southeast for the snow.  We didn't even get a dusting.  My aunt, who lives in Iredell county said they had around 4 inches too.

About your last comment: I take it you don't like UNC?

47 and cloudy in my neck of the woods.  They're predicting rain tomorrow (oh surprise, surprise).

Hope you guys stay warm and safe, and remembered to wrap your hose faucets!  Stay indoors tomorrow, pig out on beer and pretzels, watch the games, and check in here to let us know how you're doing.

I don't see much snow happening in Tenn.

I just got back from an ill-advised trip to get some pizza. Bad idea. No wrecks, but I had a few close calls.

For some reason, none of the local governments seemed to have taken any precautionary actions for this storm.

On the edge of a blizzard warning, expecting winds over 50 mph and white-outs. On the same message board that first started talking about this storm those ski bums are say there is a chance for bigger storm for New England and New York on Christmas Eve into Christmas... :-X

Sleet falling on top of the snow making driving conditions treacherous.

Plows are out to try to clear off the main arteries. Side streets will have to wait until Sunday and Monday to get cleared, if they get cleared at all.

VDOT said not to drive today which is a good idea.

Good day for us in the central Atlantic region to watch DVD's and the Bass Forum's videos and open the BPS and Cabella's catalogs with what we would like for Christmas checked-off and leave them in the kitchen, by accident, of course.

As Glenn said, everyone be safe.  :)

Snow Blower for Rent.   ;D

Just kidding....  But when you guys finish digging out your own driveways and sidewalks, remember to watch out for the older folks in your neighborhood.

Even up here where we're used to moving snow piles around, we have older folks suffering heart attacks from trying to clean up after storms.  A quick phone call to make sure they have help, or to see if the need anything (food or medicine) until they can get out would be a big help.

No thanks, Fat-G.

We were going to head down to the double secret pond in Dinwiddie County on Sunday but we will hold off until the weather gets better.

The double secret pond near my house is at full pool and I was thinking of hitting it with a crankbait or a shaky head but so far have not had the time.

Stay home and enjoy the weather. Do some extra homework!!!!!  ;D   ;D   ;D

After reading all the reports on this thread, I feel lucky. I woke up this morning to 1" of snow. That's like a day at the beach, compared to all of you guys.

Stay warm, and safe.

The snow has to be at least two-feet.  :)

We have 22'' of snow in the back yard. We have a Brittney Spaniel that can't run through the backyard. It is hilarious to watch her hopping around to keep moving through the snow. Don't know if many of you all have tried walking in that much snow before, but it isn't as easy as it would seen to be.

Dang, guess my reel won't get shipped until next week. LOL

Good guess Jack.  ;) All ready to go though...we've been shoveling the driveway but 300 yards is a long ways with 2 ft of snow.

I thought we got a bunch of snow last night but 5basslimit put what I got here to shame. That's a lot of snow!
