TCU v. Boise St.

Featured Replies

This has been a great game so far. I really expected TCU's defense to be more dominant, not that they've slouched or anything. Great defensive game.

Also, not sure I like TCU's new digs. I definitely don't like the red in the helmet.

That defensive pass interference call towards the end of the 2nd quarter was ridiculous. That was quite obviously offensive pass interference on BSU...

Does TCU have any receivers that can catch? If so, they need to put 'em in quick.

TCU is playing like crap. This might have been a completely different game if they were playing as good like they are capable of playing.

I hate BSU. At least this isn't a win against a BCS team...

My hats off to both programs and to both coaches.

Either of those coaches could move on up and be successfull elsewhere.

I don't know many colleges in the country that would put either of these two colleges on the schedule after a decade of winning and beating BCS teams, some ranked, and winning a few BCS Bowls along the way.

Patterson married a Ft. Worth hometowner, she said he isn't, oops, she isn't leaving Ft. Worth for along time, anytime soon either.

Patterson said mama calls plays at home, so he isn't going anywhere, plus, he's getting paid a little more now.

Thought the Frogs looked invincible all year, until last night.

BSU dominated Oregon Ducks early in the season, then Oregon dominated the Pac 10.

BSU jumped out and dominated TCU early, winningest team this decade, BSU has some nice feathers amoungst those wins this decade.

Last thing, BSU travels some fans, it looked like BSU home game, and talk about loud, one of the loudiest fan bases I've heard, if they're were in Purple Frog fans there, you couldn't hear them.

I'm still not convinced that they are worthy of being ranked anywhere in the top 15. They may have had some nice wins here and there in the past but until they schedule more than one good team in a schedule full of lollipops then I don't want to hear about why they should be allowed in the NC

Its going to get harder for them.  Even if they wanted to put together a harder schecule, few BCS teams are going to agree to play them.

Which is why they should join a new conference. Pac10? Big10? I know it's much easier said then done but I think it would be best for them. And imagine if they joined the Big10! Then there would be 12 teams and they could split it into two divisions and have a championship game and the SEC and Big12 wouldn't be able to complain about being at a disadvantage.

If it was up to me...It would have been Boise State vs Florida, TCU vs Georgia Tech, Alabama vs Texas, let Cincy beat up on Iowa, and Ohio State vs Oregon.

I'm not convinced Iowa should be there, but screw it. GT prove it tonight.

I agree Dan. It would be nice if we could see Utah and Boise join the Big 10.

Or better yet, Mizzou leave the Big 12 and join the Big 10 with Boise. Then have TCU fill Mizzou's spot in the Big 12.

big 10 already has 11, they only need one.

Boise and TCU had good years. TCU beat good BYU and Utah teams. I think both TCU and Boise are top ten teams this year. I would like to see Boise and TCU in a major conference as well. The mountain west is supposedly on the rise, but I don't think one bowl game makes a conference.

I think they both have an advantage in not playing against pac-10, big ten, sec, or big 12 schools week in week out. Could either team win one game against almost any other program??? Yes, and they have done it. I think it would have been more telling to have one of the schools play Florida, and the other one to play G.Tech, Iowa or another school from a major conference. They beat up on each other the last two years, which does not let the fans see where they stand against the big boys.

I remember what happened the last time Boise ventured out of conference and visited Georgia. They took a severe and thorough butt whippin. But then they also beat Oklahoma in Fiesta bowl.
