Headed out to my first day of class, car breaks down on an exit ramp. Bus gets stuck behind me and i get an earful from an angry bus driver. Call my verizon roadside assistance they tell me to call the police? finally get a tow truck out to my car 200$ tow , get towed to an autoshop and its not my battery its the alternator. now i have to find a ride to my second class of the day. i think i need a cigarette even though i dont smoke.

I got verizon roadside assistance as well, and why are you asked to call the police? I tho they are supposed to handle it for you? :-?

Yeah Lee thats what i thought too. The tow truck driver was real nice he told me verizon should remberce me for the towing cost. Which was more expensive than nromal becuae the police were called

AAA is a good thang..   Used them more than once. The anual fee got used up a long time ago.. ;D

wow...this is not much of a service if you have to pay upfront, then wait 90 days to get your money back.

Seriously though, that sucks. AAA is incredibly convenient and hassle-free.

haha yeah a case of the Mondays that i passed on to about 150 students that got stuck behind me lol just hoping they don't recognize that it was me if i have class with them. not to many nice looks

AAA is very good but not for me, my great grandfather started a towing company 63 years ago which my dad runs today and in florida the hwy patrol/sherrif rates are $100 flat.
