Do Not Call for Cell Phones

Featured Replies

I was sent this by a friend. Just passing it along.

REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month.

REMINDER......  all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls..

.... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:     888-382-1222.

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked.

You cannot call from a different phone number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON .. It takes about 20 seconds.

Help others by NOT  passing that info along. It's disinformation. Cell numbers are NOT  going public! Cell phone numbers are NOT  being released to telemarketing companies!!

This hoax  has been floating around the Internet for years.

Glenn, I called the number it sounded authentic.

But thanks for the input.

I will go back to the guy and tell him what you said.

Take care.  :)

The number is authentic (and it's for all numbers, not just cell numbers).

The rest of the info is rubbish.

I have been getting some telemarketers calls the past few weeks. Glad I wasn't on the other end because I laded it on pretty heavy.
