NCAA expansion this might settle it

Featured Replies

The #16 seed is 0 - 100 against the # 1 seed in the tny.

That was my first thought. Then again some of the 16 seeds are only there because of conference tny etc. Thus a potential higher seed might be sitting on the sideline or the odds of a 16 winning would improve with some of the bubble teams in their place.

  Scratch that nothing solved! lol

The mid-major conference champions earned their spots in the tournament. I think that they should make bubble teams like Cal and Florida play in the play-in game. It doesn't seem fair that a team like Winthrop, who actually won their conference, doesn't get to play in the real tournament while mediocre teams from the big 6 conferences do.

Whats the lowest ranked seed to ever win Marchmadness?  I think it was the #8 seed Nova

I think the George Mason team was the highest seed to make the final four with a 11 or 12th seed.

Expanding the field sure makes for more games, but as history shows, no one has ever won the tournament that basically wasn't ranked in the top25 at seasons end.

Expanding the field just watered it down and gave TV and College extra games to make money on.

Still love the madness, but please, no expansions.

Only expansion I would be for is play in games for all the 16 seeds and possibly the the 15's

Riding the JayHawks to the championship again.

Won a few pools the last time they did.

Lets go big XII
