So I recently found my old garmin etrex...I stopped using it cause I could never really find out how to mark points with it!

Anyone happen to have one and know how to do this?

Every time I try to mark a point it thinks it's a waypoint and draws a line to it.  I want a mark points on one lake then be able to move to another and mark points without the unit trying to draw a 100mi line from one point to another!

you could do what I did with my yellow etrex... trash can.  That thing was not worth rescuing!
