Any coin collectors?

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I'm not a collector but I believe I have/had a coin that might/may have been worth a few bucks.

My grandpa gave me an uncirculated Carson City silver dollar from the 1800's about 30yrs ago and I cannot find where I stashed it.  I don't remember the exact year but it was in a clear case mounted inside a blue box that had the name Carson City embossed on it.

Any idea on the value range of Carson City silver dollars?

i collect a little bit that my grandfather got me into, could you post a pic and i may be able to help some.  if you do post a coin, post both sides.

This is the best i could find, im not sure if it it is right or not.

sorry about it being a little messy.

if you dont want to read all that then it basicaly says it could be worth anywhere from $125-$30,000 based on the grade and year of your coin.
