Yea I just put it on my Ipod B. They remind me of Dispatch....

Ahh! I didnt know yelling was considered singing. ;D

Are you sure you typed your age correctly in your profile? I don't believe I've ever heard that comment from anyone younger than 60.  ;D

its not... its just that... yelling. thats mostly why these guys tick me off, that and how all their songs are very preachy and about some kind of personal values.

Yea. When I first heard them I thought they were somewhere in the middle of Sublime and old O.A.R. Pretty good stuff.

sublime was the first band to come to mind when i listened to it!

Rome (dark headed guy with short hair singing) actually plays with the remaining members of Sublime now. They're called New Sublime or something like that.

I was thinkin a inbetween Jack Johnson and sublime.

Yea, i cant freakin stand the crap most kids my age are listenin too. The rap stuff they listen to is idiotic, and i hate almost all new rock.

Im mainly a country and classic rock kinda guy. Also enjoy blues and calm music.

Some of the only newer people i like are:

Jack Johnson

Sublime

Kings of leon

Vampire weekend (new to but like alot)

Some others im sure, but i also listen to alot of country new and old.

I'm glad sublime got a new front man. That being said, he cant capture the magic that was Brad Nowell. It bums me out to think of the music he could have made. >:(

btw, I think that they are calling themselves "Sublime w/ Rome" now

  • Author

Yea bizz I agree about Brad. Rome is definitely not the same. I knew they had to change the name. Turns out Brad's family sued them because they were playing shows under the name Sublime which Brad had all the rights too. Kind of lame on the family part because I'm sure he would want the music to carry on.

I checked out some of Dirty Heads other stuff and to me they don't have a lot of good songs but a few really good songs.

I am with the Nowells on this one. He was sublime's heart and soul. Now that he has been replaced, it isnt/shouldnt be sublime.
