A school district somewhere downstate in IL retired and old schoolhouse. Someone bought the building and somewhat surprisingly to a portion of the community the buyer opened a strip club in it.

There was the typical moral debate plus the sacred old school angle of course.

here's that the opposing team did at a basketball game between the 2 teams.

"At a recent basketball game featuring a Neoga team, the opposing fans were waving dollar bills at the Neoga cheerleaders in an apparent reference to the school house".

A friend of mine lives in Neoga.  Nothing much usually happens there so I guess it has been quite a stir.  You have to hand it to the kids, though.  Pretty funny/creative.

I grew up just a few minutes from Neoga.  I was pretty shocked when I heard they were opening a strip club.  It's a SMALL town surrounded by small towns.  We played against them in high school sports and it may well have been my school waving the dollars.

I'd be kind of scared to think about what the "dancers" look like.

Years ago in St. Louis, an inner city school was playing a very affluent suburban school in a basketball tournament.  Inner city school was winning by 40+ points.

With every basket, the inner city cheerleaders, with a loud, boombox drum background busted out with a cheer that went like  Hey  -  Ungowa --- We got the power.

After several cheers, the suburban cheerleaders replied with :   It's all right      It's OK!

The fight was on and they don't play each other any more.

Yeah, Vanderbilt says that at a lot of their sporting events. Therefore, a lot of the private schools around Nashville have taken to saying that when they play public schools.
