an old Rapala Risto Rap. hung up on line in the water, lucky for me the bait floated up enough for me to see it out there.

You could of atleast took off your hat!  ;D

I know it, im half tempted to always jump out in the water if/when i lose a lucky craft. Actually my very first lucky craft i owned i waded neck high in water trying to find it in about 50 degree water! haha You know, i never did find that lure.

LOL!!!

Been there.  Bank fishing once, got a Zara Spook of all things stuck on a piece of standing timber.  It was hot, and I wanted my bait back so I swam out there and retrieved it.

I've caught a bunch of fish on that bait.

I lost my favorite crank today fishing from shore but couldn't bring myself to go in after it when a new one costs $4.00. A little Bandit shallow crank that I found last year in a tree and have been catching a lot of bass with it since.

I did find a Bomber one in a tree yesterday. Guess I'm still even although I miss my little buddy.
