AR owners - Thoughts on the Trijicon Tri Power?

Just looking for opinions on this particular optic.

Dont know if it is for me yet.  If you think you may need one, maybe we can work something out.   ;)

Any thoughts?

I went to a local shop to buy one when they first hit the market, about 5 years ago I guess. It was a real disappointment. It looked and felt cheap, and the cover for the light-collecting doughnut on the top didn't fit well at all.

I wound up walking out with an EOTech 552.A65 and never looked back. ;) Mounted it on a LaRue EOTech riser so I could have lower 1/3 co-witness when my irons are deployed, and I can remove/replace it without losing zero.

It does everything I need/want it to do, it's waterproof, parallax-free, doesn't block my iron sights, offers the fastest target aquisition of any optic I've tried, and can still functiom as a large ghost-ring sight if my batteries should die.
