Dallas still has yet another reason to hate the Red Wings. Modano you should have just retired in the city where you were king of all sports athletes.

It is a sad day in Dallas, we will move on with the strength of our youth but knowing that the man who help make hockey what it is in the south has left is hard.

I will always be a Modano fan.....when he wears the green and black and not the blood red and white.

May the Red wings have a loosing season and Mike regret his choice.

Well it wasn't his choice to leave Dallas, and he is grew up in a suburb of Detroit so he is just going home. Can't really blame him for it.

If it was up to me, you could have him back!

Modano at 40 is past his prime and needs to take up playing golf.  We need a new stadium up here a lot more than somebody destined to play on the fourth line.
