I'm disappointed that it looks like Merriman may never play a down for the Bills, but I still like the fact that they picked him up. He didn't cost the Bills anything but a million dollars and change of Uncle Ralph's money, and he has enough. It would have been a small price to pay if he was able to step in and be an impact player, but oh well. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The Bills didn't get any worse by signing him.
